Procurement Manager

• Coordinate company's procurement practices, initiatives, facilitate synergy and consolidation opportunities;

• Design, develop, implement, update and align company's procurement policy, procedures and guidelines;

• Develop a centralized procurement program that will add value and efficiency to the organization;

• Implement supplier pre-qualification procedures and maintain, update centralized vendor list;

• Facilitate company's procurement demand formation, collection and initiate demand standardization

• Constantly monitor company's purchases, adopt sourcing strategies, initiate procurement partnerships and identify cost optimization opportunities

• Review market/vendor list regularly and various information from available resources, keep abreast of market conditions, pricing and new suppliers

• Negotiate to secure advantageous terms, maintain profitable supply and optimum value for money, assess total costs of purchase, expand contacts and communicate with vendors, suppliers, contractors

• University degree in economics, management, business or supply chain management;

• 3+ years of practical managerial experience in vendor management, overseas and domestic sourcing, procurement experience across multiple categories

• Excellent cognitive skills with a proactive approach to problem solving;

• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, project management skills;

• Ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision;

• Ability to analyze options, understand risks and make recommendations;

• Self-driven, highly motivated, initiative;

• Trilingual (Azerbaijani, English and Russian) written and verbal skills

• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
