MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide first- and second-line support for software and hardware issues across the organization.
- Support and maintain PCs as well as LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
- Test and evaluate hardware and software to ensure efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing systems.
- Monitor and test communication lines to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
- Assess system performance and identify risks related to component failure.
- Troubleshoot LAN-related issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Interpret technical documentation to configure equipment and ensure optimal performance.
- Identify suitable equipment based on organizational requirements and technical specifications.
- Provide user support, including troubleshooting data communication issues and training on system usage.
- Monitor system messages to verify accurate data transmission between locations.
- Manage ordering and installation of peripheral equipment and consumables (e.g., cables, printer paper).
- Ensure all activities comply with ICT policies and procedures.
- Recommend improvements to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Assist users in resolving hardware and software issues.
- Oversee installation, measurement, and maintenance of cables and wiring.
- Report system errors or equipment failures to the relevant ICT personnel.
- Monitor system outputs and detect faults through system alerts and performance indicators.
- Operate computer systems to process business, engineering, or scientific data in line with procedures.
- Ensure full compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, and Sanitation standards.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5 - 10 years of relevant experience
- BS / MS degree in relevant field
- Good knowledge of English
