Data Transformation Analyst (Data Steward)

Data Transformation Analyst is responsible for implementing and sustaining the Enterprise Data Governance framework across the lines of business. This individual will ensure Kapital Bank is defining, managing, and governing enterprise data to help achieve business strategic goals. The Data Transformation Analyst will lead the business lines in developing strong data quality monitoring and governance practices to comply with regulatory and compliance matters while ensuring effective and efficient servicing of our clients.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data management, data quality, or data governance, ideally within a financial or regulated industry.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality principles, and data management best practices.
• Proven ability to collaborate across business and technical teams, with the skill to manage relationships and communicate effectively with data owners.
• Experience in analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical data needs.
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality tools, experience with SQL.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or related field.
• Strong documentation skills, including experience with technical writing and data glossary management.
• Proficiency in Azerbaijan and English is required, with strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively document, explain, and enforce data governance standards across diverse teams.
