Budget Cost Controller

Expense Verification:

• Review expense requests from various departments to confirm compliance with the approved budget;
• Assess the validity, necessity, and accuracy of expense submissions;
• Collaborate with department heads to clarify discrepancies or justify budget deviations.

Budget Monitoring:

• Continuously monitor budget utilization across departments;
• Report any potential budget overruns or unutilized allocations to the Head of Budgeting and Reporting;
• Participate in yearly budgeting campaigns.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of all expense approvals and rejections;
• Generate Insights and recommendations to improve spending efficiency

Policy Compliance:

• Ensure that all expense-related activities comply with the company’s financial policies and procedures;
• Assist in developing and updating expense approval guidelines.

• 2-4 years of experience in cost control, financial analysis, or a related role;
• Advanced Excel skills, experience with financial reporting tools is a plus;
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts;
• Knowledge of budgeting processes;
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams;
• Robust analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Proficiency in English (upper-intermediate or higher); Russian is a plus.
